About this stay
McAllen is the retail, medical and business center of the Rio Grande Valley, and most of the people who stay with us are here to work in it or to be near it. Hummingbird Haven sits in Pharr, on the McAllen side of the metro, in a residential community of two-story townhomes rather than a hotel corridor.
Every home is rented furnished: living room seating, a dining table, a full kitchen, air conditioning and free WiFi. Each has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a half bathroom, around 1,100 square feet, so two colleagues, a small family or a travel nurse on a thirteen-week assignment each get their own space instead of one room.
Guests coming to McAllen for work usually choose a furnished townhome over an apartment locator because the whole home is ready on arrival, parking is included, and there is no marketplace fee between them and the owner.
